Singapore culture is intent on prohibiting many personal rights, the government reason for which is that it creates harmony in a conservative and culturally diverse country. Pornography is illegal and this is a form of nudity in addition to reading a Playboy magazine.
Consequence: Imprisonment or large fine. - Hugging not permitted without permission. In public, one could be charged for outraging modesty.
Consequence: Imprisonment or large fine. - Do not make adverse comments toward any religion. This is considered a highly serious matter and be cited for sedition.
Consequence: Large fine - Abetment - Introducing a stranger as a good friend, falsely endorsing the individual (speak highly of them and it proves to be false) is considered to be illegal.
Consequence: Imprisonment or large fine. - Connecting on unsecured Wi-Fi hotspots means hacking. Always look for a public Internet café shop rather than logging in on an unsecured network. This is considered a form of hacking.
